Major Community Based Project
An added value towards our conservation efforts through cocoa agroforestry, restoration and community-led livelihoods.
Major Community Based Project
The Community Based Cocoa ARR Project Initiative links restoration with income pathways that communities can manage locally. The work supports nursery development, agroforestry preparation and practical field participation so conservation becomes visible and valuable on the ground.
Instead of treating restoration as a stand-alone activity, this initiative connects seedling production, training, planting support and community coordination in one delivery model. Families, youth and local leaders all take part in preparing materials, supporting nurseries and building long-term livelihood opportunities.

Local teams prepare shade structures and nursery spaces so cocoa and supporting tree seedlings can be raised in a protected environment before field planting begins.
Families and community members prepare soil, fill seedling bags and learn simple care routines that help young plants grow well and strengthen local ownership.
